The Aerospace segment is responsible for the design, manufacturing, and sale of business jets, in addition to offering services such as aircraft maintenance and repair, management, charter, aircraft-on-ground support and completion, staffing, and fixed-base operator services. In contrast, the Marine Systems segment focuses on the design and construction of nuclear-powered submarines, surface combatants, and auxiliary vessels for the United States Navy, along with Jones Act ships for commercial clients. This segment also plays a vital role in the building of crude oil and product tankers, as well as container and cargo ships. Furthermore, it provides maintenance and modernization services for navy ships, along with lifecycle support and repair services for navy surface ships, including program management, planning, engineering, and design support services for both submarines and surface vessels. The Combat Systems segment specializes in the production of land combat solutions, encompassing wheeled and tracked combat vehicles, Stryker wheeled combat vehicles, piranha vehicles, and an array of weapons systems and munitions. It is also involved in modernization programs and offers engineering, support, and sustainment services. Lastly, the Technologies segment delivers information technology solutions and mission support services, mobile communication systems, and intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance solutions aimed at military, intelligence, and federal civilian clients. This segment encompasses advanced services such as cloud computing, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and big data analytics, in addition to software-defined networks and unmanned undersea vehicle manufacturing and assembly services.
